For a long time people on Twitter would just add a ton of people with the hopes that at least a few of them would follow them back but Twitter realized the spam potential so they put in place a Twitter Follower Limit which numerically is 2000 but there is a catch here. It is possible to go over the two thousand limit as long as you have your ratio in check. The ratio is 1 follower to 1.1 following and unless you have the proper program it takes forever to monitor and keep in check. It is important to know who you are following and more importantly who is following you back but the basic programs will not tell you this in terms of time. For example I send out a hundred follower requests and 70 immediately accept the follow and follow me back but there is still the other thirty. I just start the program and it will go automatically making sure that every action it takes is legal in terms of Twitter guidelines and gets the most possible benefits at the same time.
There are other programs who offer a similar set up but they want a monthly free or will charge you for any software upgrades but not Tweet Adder with a one time price that basically pays for itself in a matter of days. If you are serious about promoting your business or blog than Twitter can have an unbelievable impact but you need to be able to use the service to its full capacity.
